RFC - Abracadabra DAO votes for week 10/03 - 14/03:
OBS: last week didn’t have any new vote.
Summary:
This proposal asks AbracadabraDAO to engage in the ArbitrumDAO votes for this week. ArbitrumDAO has a weekly voting cycle, ending every Thurday. The votes for this week are:
In the following section, I will present a short summary, why should AbracadabraDAO vote in the topic, and a voting direction suggestion.
Motivation
I am a delegate on ArbitrumDAO and I understand how time-consuming governance processes can be, as they are not limited to forum posts, but also several calls where the proposals are discussed. Sometimes, this is overwhelming for protocols contributors/community, so the engagement is not that high. However, every week are discussed/voted topics that have a direct impact in the protocols that are part of the Arbitrum Ecosystem. For this reason, I present this week’s votes for the community appreciation, as I believe it is important that AbracadabraDAO to be part of those decisions.
This proposal is part of the Treasury Management v.1.2 proposal. It is the beginning of putting the treasury to generate revenue, incentivizing Arbitrum protocols and creating a flywheel that could help the DAO to become sustainable in the long term.
In this track, we are selecting entities to deploy stables and ARB related strategies (15m ARB for stables strategies and 10m ARB for ARB-related strategies)
Voting direction suggestion:
#1 Deploy Both Strategies: The ecosystem will benefit the most if both strategies are deployed. Having the treasury engaging with strategies that are not just Stables/ETH related can open future opportunities for our cauldrons and MIM as diversification strategies.
Arbitrum Voting
Arbitrum Votes for the 1 snapshot vote.
If this RFC becomes an AIP and pass, Abracadabra would be voting following the direction suggestion proposed here.
As I recognise that this is a cadence too high for AbracadabraDAO governance cycle, as an alternative, I suggested a few items that would help to reduce the governance overhead.
